Under Chapter 49.062 of the Texas Water Code, the Board of Directors of Northtown Municipal Utility District is authorized to establish offices and meeting places both inside and outside the boundaries of the District.

The Stormwater Management Plan provides details on District plans to prevent and minimize pollution of the stormwater system. General information on stormwater management is provided in the STORMWATER FLIER.
The District is responsible for maintaining certain stormwater facilities located in the District as identified on the SYSTEM MAP. Private property owners and home owners associations are responsible for maintaining their respective ponds.
